Evolve - Cometa CT496 Security Portal is a high-performance security solution designed for controlled access in demanding environments. With dimensions of Ø 1485 x H 2345 mm and a free passage area of L 900 x H 2090 mm, the CT496 accommodates a wide range of users while maintaining stringent security standards. Weighing approximately 1000 kg, its robust steel frame (40/10) ensures durability, with optional modular components for on-site assembly. The cabin floor is 20 mm thick as standard, with 12 mm options available.

Powered by 100–240 VAC and 12–24 V DC with backup batteries, the portal ensures uninterrupted operations for up to 100 cycles during power loss. Energy-efficient, it consumes just 95 W, supporting a throughput of 3–4 cycles per minute in one direction, or 4–6 cycles per minute bi-directionally, depending on configuration.

Safety and performance are enhanced with microprocessor-based electronics, 24 V DC assisted sliding doors, self-adjusting braking, speed control, and accident prevention devices. Programmable features include emergency escape, door locks, and manual or automatic transit in one or both directions. Interior lighting is provided by 12 V LED spots, while sliding laminated glass doors and sides (11–12 mm, P3A rated) offer visibility without compromising security.
